The textures seemed less detailed on my screen, but that wasn't any detriment.<br /><br />As for Arcania (or ArcaniA, as they styled it), it seemed unremarkable save for the total hash they made of the script. Dialogue was poorly written and horribly acted for the most part, especially so in the case of the witch. I noticed a couple of times when the spoken lines contradicted the subtitles, even with respect to quest objectives. It wasn't even consistent about which was right. The demo says it might not be representative of the final game's quality; one can only pray that this is true.<br /><br />Mechanics, setting, and characters seemed totally run-of-the-mill, and the hints towards a larger plot were also unintriguing. Nothing seemed <i>wrong</i> really, but it also didn't seem even remotely fresh or interesting.<br /><br />Also, there was an orc named Orruk.
